At 9AM this Saturday, October 29, the starting gun will sound and 200 runners and walkers will begin this year’s annual Gopher Weedon Tail Run. Weedon’s hiking trails will be closed to un-registered walkers during the event. For visitors interested in hiking the trails, they will re-open at 11 AM.
The weather forecast for the day is terrific and the race along the Preserve’s trails and boardwalks, through mangroves and upland trails, should be another huge and popular hit with participants and volunteers alike. See you there!
