• Funded and produced Gulf Islanders: The  Story of Weedon Island, a 15 minute video that examines Weedon’s ancient and more current history while showcasing it’s estuarine environment. Available on YouTube and in the Weedon Island Center where it introduces guests to the many wonders in the Preserve.

  • Provided key funding to preserve a 40-foot plus ancient canoe (estimated at plus 1,000 years old) that was found on Weedon Island, raised, preserved, and is now on display. A saltwater canoe, it is one-of-a kind and delights and amazes visitors on a daily basis.

  • Funded and coordinated A Glimpse Through the Mangroves, a life-size mural evoking the Preserve’s natural and cultural history.

  • Funded the development of a Least Tern nesting site on the roof of the Preserve’s Center.
