In 2008 the Friends of Weedon Island launched its first website. It was designed by the Board’s student member Abby King as a Girl Scout Gold Award Project and served Friends needs for many years. Eight years later, with continuing changes in technology and the ways in which we all gather and exchange information, welcome to www.friendsofweedonisland.org 2016!
To enhance viewing, the 2016 website dynamically adapts to the technology on which it’s viewed: smartphones, pads, laptops, and, of course, desktops. Viewers can complete and submit online the paperwork to join, renew, or donate through their PayPal account. It is the foundation we will utilize to share information and keep members and visitors updated on Weedon Island and Friends activities.
